What a relief to get out and go to work this morning. The roads in the city were terrible this weekend but this morning we did see where they had salted the areas near the intersections. I hope we have a light winter because I don?’t think the city will be very willing to plow the streets and salt when necessary. Let?’s pray for warmer weather and sunshine.

Catching up
Changes to the snow plowing do not occur until next year.

Need money
Snow plows run on gas and there are no salt mines that the city owns. Gas and salt cost money. The oh-so-wise Pickerington voters said no to the tax increase. If you voted no, you have no right what so ever to complain about absent city sevices.

Folks out and about
I was out Sat afternoon and evening and there seemed to be no shortage of traffic in spite of the road conditions. People will pretty much go where they want to go. Remember the line from Rain Man: ''I'm an excellent driver.''
