Among other comments to voice his opinion that we are a relatively stupid bunch of constituents, Fix offered this comment in a recent meeting:

Mr. Fix stated because historically the Mayors have stacked the Charter Review Commission with their buddies and tell them what to do and they got it done that way.

You HAVE to read this stuff. It's amazing that Fix and his lapdogs on council are trying to run away with the city. Heck, they don't need a Mayor anymore, want to cut the number of readings on ordinances to two, offer no provisions for discipline of the manager and more.

The best part is Smith and Fix are trying to not allow council to make ANY changes to what they've come up with for charter changes to send to a commission. A commission by the way that FIX wants to stack with HIS buddies and tell them what to do.

FIX HAS TO GO FOLKS. We need candidates!!!

No the real question is that since this is just the minutes of the meeting - was King Fix able to keep a straight face when he said that about not doing that anymore.

These are all carpet baggers trying to pad their collective resumes and move on to something else.

They were not here for the last two charter reviews and they will probably be gone by the next one.
