So I am at the doctor's office yesterday and he confirms the first case of H1N1 in Pickerington schools.

How H1N1 is confirmed
Currently the local health departments have to do a test to ''confirm'' a case of H1N1. Right now they are only testing people being hospitalized or deaths. A visit to a doctor's office if not official or reported to the school district at this time. Should the school district be advised of a case the school & it's families would be notified. At this point the school district does not have any confirmation from any health department of a case of H1N1. |
