King Fix

Posted in: PATA
I see that the city has allowed Fix to advertise on city property for his re-election this fall. So much for the hypocrite and went he bitterly complained about the previous administration and those elected officials politicing city hall.
Can you be specific

I want to make sure my complaint to the city, the board of elections and the state ethics commission are accurate. Where are his campaign signs on city property?
Hanging if left field

I believe if you travel down Diley road and turn into the water plant you will find a baseball park in front of that water plant. Hanging on the outfield fence is a Fix sign. The last I heard was that ball diamond is on city property and it is maintained by the city's parks and rec. Sounds like the slippery weasel slip one past everyone.
Rules are for losers

Why should Jeff follow the city's codified ordinances? He's above the law you know.

From Pickerington's Codified Ordinances:

Section 1292.02

(e)Political signs or posters concerning candidates for election, to be displayed beginning not more than forty-five days prior to election, and to be removed not later than three days after such election, subject to penalty. Such signs shall not exceed six square feet in area, shall not be illuminated, shall not create a safety or visibility hazard and shall not be located over a public right of way. Ballot issue signs may be permitted within the right of way only when specifically permitted by the City Manager.
