Re-Posting of Anonymous

Posted in: PATA
At the request of Dr. Bruce Rigelman, I am re-posting (2) of the earlier listings from ''Anonymous'' and the responses.

Without HIS request you would not be seeing these postings. My own personal ethics do not condone the form of ''backstabbing'' that this elected official and subsequent ''henchman'' have undertaken. However valueless these underhanded attacks are, they do illustrate to this community what these individuals are capable of perpetrating. For this reason, at the request of Dr. Rigelman, you can see for yourself what levels some people will stoop.

Bruce Rigelman with Brain Tumor?

1-24-2001
Is the rumor true that Bruce has a skull-based meningioma as he questions at the Johns Hopkins brain tumor web site?

Is this what has been wrong with him all along instead of the stroke?

I wish him the best if so. This is a hard road to follow.

Thought his friends would know.

When we created this web site we were hoping to bring a positve communication vehicle to the community. It has largely suceeded. This type of ''Bull'' perpetrated on this site or elsewhere is a disgrace and embarassing to everyone. (except the author of course who seems to take pleasure in this and previous attacks) The author of this clearly has no interest in engaging in healthy discussion or debate on issues, just spreading rumors and speculations in order to bring down a school board member in a personal way. I suggest you go back to the T.V and turn on the soaps or contribute to the Enquirer...since it appears this is the house in which you dwell. You clearly should have many better things to do.
Your intelligence suggests great potential, why do you squander it on us mushrooms.

There seems to be a double standard displayed on this neighborhood link that is on the surface professed to promote communication about the matters of importance to this community.

The first writer is right on in establishing that there is indeed a query made by Bruce D. Rigelman of Pickerington to the Johns Hopkins brain tumor web site. Look for it at www.brain-tumor.com/guestbook.cfm Scroll down to the 2000-10-30 12:35:43 entry and look for yourself.

I see a double standard of ''Bull'' from the PATA founder.

I hope Mr. Rigelman doesn't really have to deal with this dastardly brain tumor as described.

He is a public official. That is no ''Bull''! His condition does matter to this community. From all appearances this has been kept a secret from us all since at least October 2000.

Since the author of the original message forgot to make the discussion entry completely anonymous and used his/her sign in name on the discussion entry, the PATA webmaster is able to link the message to who this person is. If the webmaster were a dictator, she could have exposed this person's identity since, considering the source, it is in extremely bad taste. But I consider that exposure unethical, even if the person who wrote the discussion item is acting in an unethical manner in my opinion. I choose not to expose this person. I also can delete any discussion that the organization feels inappropriate and I left this one on the site even though there has been considerable debate to do the opposite between concerned PATA members.

Those in the community, who chose to destroy another person's reputation or personal life, by acts such as these, expose themselves to the public ultimately. The author will live with the results of this and other actions, eventually. One can speculate, (from the original author's viewpoint,) that if the author was visiting the Johns Hopkins?’ Brain Tumor site, perhaps this person has a brain problem too. I do admire Dr. Rigelman?’s search for information and alternative opinions and methods. I do believe this behavior on his part was not gained by observations of the actions of the board majority or administration. If he has something to tell his friends or the community?… it is his decision. Causing him additional stress seems to be considered a sport with some members of the public.

The above author should really understand the meaning of the word dictator, having been there, and not misuse it.
