Dear Mr. Uher,
In anticipation of Your promised weekend oration and in the spirit of the civil repertoire we seemed to have established, I would respectfully like to make a request. This request is on behalf of myself and other readers of the PATA web page I communicate with regularly, and in no way am I representing the opinion or desires of PATA, its web administrators, members, and so on, to the best of my knowledge.
Mr. Uher, please move on. We are making all attempts to focus on issues and minimize personal attacks on specific individuals (with the exception of those who choose to call me stupid, misinformed and misguided in the media). You can?’t seem to play well with others. I would like to make a couple of suggestions, if You have time. First, I recommend You start a public discussion area much the same as You participate in here at http://www.glenshire.net/. Those of us who choose to follow will happily join You there in leveling personal attacks on anyone You choose. Secondly, the browser You use to access this venue more than likely supports a personal web page for You. Perhaps there, You can start a discussion area, provide us with the link, and again, we can join You in lively discussions of a more personal nature. Lastly, Neighborhood Link (www.neighborhoodlink.com/) will undoubtedly provide You a stage from which You can spread Your word. Heck, You can start a whole ?“Poison Oak?” chat room if You desire. (That bit of schoolyard name calling really cracked my kids up)
Certainly You must agree that in a different venue, Your ministry of the Pickerington flock can be more specifically orchestrated to preclude interruptions, challenges, differences of opinions or well-intentioned attempts to get back in focus on the topics at hand. You will have ultimate control over who posts, who replies and who sets topics. You can compel people to publicly post their personal email address so they can?’t shamefully hide behind the veil of privacy.
In short Sir, You will reign supreme. In Your piece of cyberspace, You make the rules. You tell Your congregation what is righteous and what is sinful, who is right and who is wrong. Don?’t let them make decisions. Don?’t let them seek out information other than what You have prepared. You lead them down the path. You show people just how You really are.
After all, this is all about You, right?
