Recent updates to the ''front page'' of this web site have limited the viewing of this former topic posted in that location. Just like on our local roadways and now even in cyberspace there appears to be limits in room. As webmaster (knowing this remains an important issue), I've chosen a posting here, to maintain a public accessibility to view this issue.

Your 1993 Commercial property goes up in rooftops....

In the 1993 Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the City of Pickerington the lands south and west of the Kroger Store were slated for Commercial uses. 400+/- acres of commercial lands now continue on the path of rooftops and bedrooms.

The Daryl Berry ?“donation?” of land for a new Police Station is at the extreme western boundary of the former commercial lands

Recently posted within the ?“Our Pages?” section of this web site are sections of our Sept. ?– Oct. Newsletter dealing with a map, real estate agents letter, and other pertinent facts related to the proposed new police station. Also included is a copy of the ?“emergency ordinance?” authorizing city expenditures of $150,000.00 in road construction and waiving of fair share costs related to water & sewer service. The location of this site (and site map) indicates the zoning of approximately 150 condominiums and 250 apartment units.

The site location is at the extreme western boundary of the City of Pickerington along the south side of refugee road roughly 1 mile west of Kroger. Sanitary sewer & water utilities are not currently available at the new police station site.
