One Correction, Jan
Jan,
Thank you for your answers to my questions and in the professional manner you posted your remarks. Again, I wish nothing but the best for you and your husband. However, your husband and I disagree on the most important issues facing our school district. The most important issue facing our schools is money. Our class sizes are too large, we must pay our teachers more, and we must hire more support staff such as counselors. Our cost per pupil expenditure is an embarrassment to this affluent community.
I have only one correction to your answers. Wes Monhollen is the only candidate ''earning the endorsement of the only two local groups issuing endorsements, The Pickerington Education Association '' and the 200+ citizens PAC of Pickerington business leaders, PATA members, teachers, elected officials, and community leaders. Wes is the only candidate of the six running for school board that have been endorsed locally.
And, I agree, Jan, it is difficult to communicate with people who aren?’t open to honest dialogue because of a pre-conceived notion being held.
Again, I wish you the best.
Mark
