Corrections, Mr. Harding
Dear Bob,
With interest, I read your four-piece article. Thanks you for the history lesson.
I just want to point out two corrections. The first one is regarding our Civic Association, Civic Affairs Committee. In your Civic Association directory, you'll find the purpose of the committee and the members of the committee. Terri Gordon, not me, has covered zoning issues and City of Pickerington issues for the last several years, and she has kept us very informed. Terri has done an outstanding job. I have only covered school issues.
Secondly, there was a statement you made that isn't true. You said, ''Enter then School Board President and Administrators quotes in the Columbus Dispatch that those nasty folks with PATA are against OUR schools'' I'm sure you were referring to Columbus Dispatch article written last fall by Ruth Sternberg. There were no quotes from School Board President or Administrators about PATA in that or any other Dispatch article ever written. Please post the entire Dispatch article you referenced on your website or take back your statement.
Finally, in your rather long history lesson, I'm surprised you didn't share your firm opposition to my involved with the formation of PATA in January 2000, because I would 'run and tell Forest everything.'
Yes, Bob, some of our votes will probably cancel each others out next Tuesday, except maybe for Mr. Dunlap. I noted with interest that you contributed $50 to his campaign and I was one of the seven unnamed $100 contributors. Maybe you should write him another $50 so we can be equal!
