Greetings!
Here I am with one more posting before the ''big one'' on Tuesday. Remember, should the good 'ole boys get re-elected/elected (most of these candidates were appointed - if you'll remember), come back to the P.A.T.A. website for my advice on what a Pickerington city resident should do, ?“?…if these mindless, rubberstamping, Joyce Bushman puppets get re-elected?” (Ref. 8/23/01, u.v.t.r. [1] Mystery Community: [2] Last Posting). Regardless of the election outcome and content of my ramblings, it will be my last posting (Mark Uher, are you reading? I said [wrote] it and I'm not going to lie to you - it shall be the last. Being honest is quite honorable. We would have respected you, Mark, if you were honest. Instead, you lied and we're ashamed of you. Restore your honor, Mark! Apologize and refrain from further postings. Are you not an honorable man?)
That being said, I wish to thank, once again, the members of P.A.T.A. and Bob Harding especially, for their fine efforts to bring these community issues to the forefront and for also giving this community a forum to present differing viewpoints on issues that greatly affect our quality-of-life standards in Violet Township. It is going to be real interesting to see exactly how much influence P.A.T.A. has on this community and how much influence one can actually make in solving the problems of a modern day society in the good old U. S. of A.! The problem in ol?’ Pictown being greed and power at all cost (B & G, are you reading?…)
Moving on, there has been some advice given in the local papers regarding how one should vote and I think that this is certainly well-worth a
reiteration. Statistically speaking, for city residents, if you decide to cast all four of your entitled votes this Tuesday for city council representative, the chances of getting David Shaver and Ted Hackworth elected are greatly reduced! It is to the advantage of Mr. Shaver and Mr. Hackworth that you only cast two votes, both for them of course. That way, there is no chance that one of the other candidates will surpass Mr. Shaver or Mr. Hackworth once they combine their ?“free-bee?” votes (votes that you voters would give them just to make sure you cast all four of your entitled votes) and the ''pocket votes'' or the votes of their supporters city employees, developers, misinformed CoC members, school district teachers vying for cushy administrative positions, and the family and
friends of the Parker's, Maxey's, Moonbrake's & Wright's). By combining these ?“free-bee?” votes to their ?“pocket votes?”, they could mathematically oust your candidate. Yep -- that's right; by exercising all of your voting
authority (casting all four votes) you could, unwittingly, ouster your own candidate! Continued?…
