November 6th will be a major day in our community. The choices are very clear.
Do we want to re-elect/elect candidates that will work together, provide leadership, give us cost-effective services for our tax dollars and help our community attract badly-needed commercial development? Or do we want to continue the division, the hatred, the name calling, attempts to cripple government services by lawsuits, and the waste of precious tax dollars on attorney fees?
It appears to me the PATA postings make our choices clear. The number one issue on this PATA website is whether or not ?“ I lied?” in February regarding my future postings on this website. Name calling and the use of vulgar language is clearly encouraged by the PATA webmaster. Fortunately, not too many people in the community are talking about your major issue.
Real issues are being discussed in the community. Mrs. Oakes?’ attempts to hound the second superintendent from office in four years is being discussed. Mrs. Oakes is one of three individuals that sought Dr. Dan Ross?’ resignation four years ago (and, if the PATA webmaster would like to censor this comment, he or she needs to contact Dr. Ross in Avon Lake before removing this true statement). Understanding the rationale for Mr. Fixes?’ published endorsement by Canal Winchester Mayor Marsha Hall is being raised. Is he trying to send us a hidden message that he favors merging Violet Township with the Village of Canal Winchester? Another issue being discussed is why is PATA so negative about one of the finest public servants in the history of our Township ?– Lyle Diley. Diley is responsible for the outstanding Violet Township services we have today, and PATA?’s comments on this website about him are really upsetting several individuals.
Some are puzzled by the PATA webmaster?’s clear attempts to censor selective information here. Why hasn?’t the PATA webmaster encouraged Mr. Harding to post the Columbus Dispatch article that he referenced in the comment, ?“Enter then School Board President and Administrators quotes in the Columbus Dispatch that those nasty folks with PATA are against OUR schools?”?
Yes, the choices in this election are clear. Cooperation & teamwork or division and hatred. I?’m sure many of the PATA website readers will be most disappointment when they arrive at the polls and are unable to find my name on the ballot.
