I'm so pleased with the interest expressed on this website about the Citizens for a Strong Violet Township-Pickerington organization that I co-chair.
We will be back to work on Wednesday promoting cooperation, teamwork and communication among all elected officials in Violet Township, City of Pickerington, and Pickerington Local School District.
We have stayed out the political season. As you know, many of us have individually participated in many different and sometimes competing campaigns.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, November 13, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pickerington Public Library Room B/C. On our agenda are two items. The first one is a formal presentation from the Deputy Director of the Ohio Department of Transporation on plans for SR 33. SR 33 is key to commercial development within PLSD. In addition, we will be inviting and welcoming all new elected officials in the Township, on the School Board, and, if any, in the City of Pickerington. Mr. Dunlap, Mr. Sigman and Mr. Maxey have been formally invited representing the Township, PLSD and the City.
We will be hard at work promoting cooperation and teamwork so our community is attractive for commerical development.
Maybe the PATA spokesperson, Bob Harding, would like to join us for our meeting on November 13.
Let's work together after this political election season. Again, thank you for the support and interest here on this website.
