I request your urgent attention to an error on your homepage. Please research the error and immediately post your findings on your homepage as well as a response here to my discussion item.

The error is in Mr. Laramee's November 3rd letter. He states in Fact #1, ''All candidates for City Council and Trustee are REPUBLICANS.'' According to the information available today on the Fairfield County Board of Elections website, that statement is false.

Please immediately post the correct information. Is Mr. Laramee statement correct or is the information from the Fairfield County Board of Elections correct?

I checked on this last week as I was upset that any Republican organization would endorse a Democrat in a race. I do not think they should do this so I made some calls to check Mr. Dunlap's status. I do not oppose Democratic candidates but just think they should not be endorsed by the opposite party as a matter of principle. The reverse is true for the Dems in my opinion. I also do not support actions with the money raised by Republican candidates who decide not to run for reelection, money given by Republicans to support such person, be given to the Democratic Mayoral candidate Randy Hughes as was done in the last election by Lee Gray. Unfortunately for Mr. Laramee, the writing was on the wall for some time with Mr. Gray's actions in this and other self serving actions of the ''Berry/Gray influence group'' and Mr. Gray continues to control many events in the City of Pickerington through his influence with the office holders and developers even though he does not hold office at this time.

Terry Dunlap converted to be a Republican some time ago. This was after the last primary election where he still declared D. To Mr. Dunlap's credit, he does not idly claim the R status as he took the time and made the effort to contact the County Republican Party officals to make his intent know to them well before this election and asked for their advice on how to approach this as far as endorsements etc. Mr. Dunlap resigned from his Democratic Party office which he held for sometime.


His change to R status will not be recorded at the county until the next primary election.

In another one of your postings, you stated that Mr. Laramee was resigning from the Republican Party. That is far from the truth, he is resigning from the Pickerington Republican Club only and this was clearly stated in his letter.

This club hasbecome a Berry Republican Club in my view and I encourage Republicans who do not want any part of this group and their antics to form another group which represents the interests of the broader community not just the friends of Daryl and Lee.
