Oh Bob...you promised.....

Posted in: PATA
You promised that after the elections you would reveal the Mystery Community. Well?? We need a change of pace around here. I realize there isn?’t a subject that Mark is not an expert in, so I?’m sure he?’ll have plenty to say to continue to monopolize these boards.

On another subject ?– CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I?’m heading out tonight to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate the 10,000th hit to the PATA website. That is reMARKable. (pun is intended) Thank you for providing a vehicle, both in cyberspace and in hard copy delivered to my door, to communicate the facts about what is going on around here. You helped me to make an informed vote that turned out to make a difference. I also have spoken with others that said the same. No, I?’m not making the claims Mark does about how so many members of the community seek my wisdom and counsel, but I do get around and we do talk.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Mystery Community XXX

------ Thanks for reminding me that I?’d promised to let our web site viewers learn of it?’s identity.

You?’ll recall this is the Community that reserved 950 acres of land for commercial uses and wouldn?’t allow residential construction in this prime location.

They financed the road improvements out of funds they have set aside, no bonds or TIF?’s.

Their schools were involved in the decisions to encourage the commercial development and were protected in the time limited tax abatement schedules at 35%. Not excluded by diverting taxes to infrastructure.

Mystery Community ''XXX'' is Westerville.

PATA Did Influence the Elections

I too am celebrating the number of hits on this website. I really try to get more people interested in reading information on the discussion pages. It is so informative -- in so many different ways.

And, yes, you should be thanking Bob and PATA. They helped recruit candidates, told the public who to vote for, and had a big influence on the elections. They have been a very effective political action committee.

And, by the way, I really could care less if you sign your name or not -- it strikes me as amusing how a few folks can come up with so many creative names. I like to log in first thing in the morning for a good laugh to start my day. And, then, with a few others we link your invented names with your real names. It really is so very easy and is rather fun.

The only thing that drives me nuts is when Bruce Rigelman posts his pep talk here. Please don't let Bruce do it again. It drives me nuts!

To Mark. Don't you have anything better to do than trying to figure out who is using what pen name on this web site? What a small little life you must lead.
