Bruce,
I am very surprised to see your posting here. I thought you would be nursing your election wounds. But, then I forgot, it was Sunday and you were having one of your infamous tirades at your computer at work.
Bill Powers had the backing of Pickerington Education Association and Pickerington Times Sun. And, he had your active support. I can hardly wait to see the election results by area where you campaigned for Bill. Without your support and Gail Oakes', Bill Powers would have clearly won the election with the endorsement of two major organizations, and dozens of positive letters to the editor. The voters gave you a clear message. I think it is Wes Monhollen who came from nowhere to win the election by a landslide.
Your letter to the editor single-handedly caused Bill Powers to lose the election.
In addition, the next time you and Gail sit together at a football and bad mouth me, be careful who is sitting around you.
I will agree that the PATA website and newsletter are read by thousands. However, many of readers ARE NOT PATA supporters.
I think the use of terrorism in your message was inappropriate for a responsible elected official. It seems as you have a sharp tongue, filled with poison, and hatred. And, you are an elected official.
