Why, you ask?
We waste out time on him for the same reason we slow down and look at a horrific traffic accident. It's just human nature. We can?’t help ourselves! How many times have you seen the emergency vehicles up ahead and you just know there is an accident as you creep along in the slowed traffic? You keep telling yourself that if everyone would just stop rubbernecking, we would all get along home just fine. But just the same, go ahead and admit it, when you get to the scene, you look too.
Mark/Munch/Osama is just the same ?– he?’s a horrific freak of nature lurking just up ahead and no matter how many times we tell ourselves that we won?’t look at his next posting, we still do. Mostly for my part it is just to see what kind of lunacy he is spouting this time.
Do you know why he creates a new posting to respond to someone? That?’s right, to see his name up there as many times as possible. Just say NO! Ignore him and he will go away. Do not respond to his maliciousness, hate and evil. You are only validating him when you do. He says nothing worth hearing. His life has no purpose.

Where's the PATA webmaster?
The PATA webmaster must be still crying over the election results. He or she has not been doing their job.
How could the PATA webmaster continue to permit references to terrorists, Osama, hijacking continue to be posted on this website. Each posting is a poor reflection on PATA and is very offensive to the thousands of victims of the worst attack in our nation's history.
For being non-partisan, the PATA webmaster was 'johnny on the spot' regarding Ed Laramee's letter to the community.
PATA webmaster -- stop crying and get back to work!

Mark's free speech
Why do we love to whack away at Mr. Uher? Why do we bother to even debate him?
Well it?’s fun for one thing. Besides how would we really get to know Mr. Uher. We have him receiving calls from imaginary school kids. Would you let your teenager talk to Mark Uher let alone take his advice? He knows exactly what Gail Oakes and Dr. Rigelman are talking about even at football games. He even knows that Dr. Rigelman is depressed.
I have seen some of Mark Uher?’s comments to other people in this area. Mark is not a nice person. He is a character assassin. Instead of being a civic-minded person, Mark is trying to destroy PATA. However, he is doing more harm to himself and his cause than he is to PATA. I would encourage anyone that has a question of what I say, to log on to the PATA WEB site and read what Mark Uher has said over the last year or so. Who he defends and how he defends them. What he supports and what he ignores. Who he hates and how he attacks them. Once someone is in public office he feels he is no longer restrained from any common decency and he goes after him or her personally. He knows he will suffer no legal consequences because they can?’t sue him if they are in public office. He walks that tight line each time he attacks. If he doesn?’t know something first hand he makes things up. Then when all else fails, he calls for legal action against the target.
I would recommend the reading of this web site discussion page for anyone that would like to know what is wrong with this community. The leaders have employed bullies like Mark Uher for a long time now. That is why we rarely see or hear any public outcry against the wasteful spending of the Pickerington City Government. That is why no one speaks out against the why our schools are run. People trying to change it meet people like Mark Uher.
If you live in an affluent neighborhood and you supported the schools wouldn?’t you at least expect the students to be able to go off to college in greater numbers and percentages than Pickerington sends theirs? Only 55% percent of Pickerington Graduates go on to a four-year college after High School. Bexley sends well over 90%, Canal Winchester 70 to 80%, Groveport nearly 70%. Thanks to Mr. Uher our children are learning a test so that they can brag about 27 out of 27. ?“They are perfect.?” Tell that to their future employer.

55% college attendance
The question of post secondary education, which is a positive goal for many students, is a very valid concern. While there are multiple factors in the decisions of preparing for and costs related concerns about a college education, this % of attendance is another benchmark of a district?’s success. Awhile back some of the members of one of PATA?’s focus teams were finding figures similar to what has been recently posted by other individuals on our web site. This needs much more serious attention than some people are giving this issue. Our focus team members were contacting area Superintendents, Guidance Counselors, Principals, Curriculum Directors and the like at a number of school systems. They also found information via a real estate association, whose members list facts about various school districts for prospective clients.
For my own input I remember as our family was house hunting around central Ohio that while Pickerington Schools had many positives listed in one of the real estate packets, it had a lower figure than many other communities related to college placements.
This issue was one of the discussions last Spring in a PLSD Curriculum Council meeting I attended. One of the talented Coordinators was attempting to develop, within the district?’s Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP), a measure of our district needs toward the issue of boosting the potential for students related to college opportunities. As yet we have not completed this work. There have been recent gains in the ?“Success Academy?” for our struggling Freshman & Sophomores and this is a step in the right direction.
During the recent election there were three candidates who expressly mentioned that above and beyond the State?’s Proficiency Test results for our district we needed to look at more to see if we were doing the best with our available resources in this college placement and preparation arena. We have elected one of those candidates, but not two others. What a shame as Dr. Brink & Mr. Powers took a high priority about dealing with this problem. I would hope their absence from the PLSD Board is not to the detriment of elevating these standards.
For us ?“oldies?” used to the - A of 90-100, B of 80-90, C of 70-80, D of 60-70 ?– Yes, I know that Pickerington?’s grading system has been modified, however a 55% is an F. This issue is too important to not see improvements. 55% should not and is not acceptable.
- I will post this message in (2) areas of the Discussion Pages, only because a previous poster did not do a direct response and began an additional titled topic covering this same issue.
