No, Bob, it is Debbie and I who should be thanking you, not only for your posting here in your discussion area, but also PATA?’s recent candidate endorsement on your home page.

Why did you choose to put on the PATA home page the scandal regarding Ed Laramee? Why didn?’t Ed post the discussion instead of the PATA webmaster? Is he saying a disclaimer can be incorrect and still legal? Since Ed resigned from the Republican Party to protest the endorsements, is Ed now a Democrat? Legally, I think you can only declare your party at the polls. Sounds to me like Ed may be in hot water with his boss over conflicting endorsements. Ed?’s boss, Barb Curtiss, endorsed Harry Myers for Violet Township Trustee.


I am afraid, my dear Bob, that your desperate attempt to influence the election is not only very transparent, it is ILLEGAL.

By posting a letter endorsing candidates on your homepage, we now have clear and convincing evidence that you are operating an illegal Political Action Committee.

Bob, I would suggest a quick call to your attorney, Russ. And, since we are such good friends, Bob, I will recommend to the judge that you serve only the very minimum in terms of jail time for your crimes.

I hope you?’ll be able to take your laptop to jail with you so you still can keep all of us taxpayers so very well informed.

I WOULD LIKE TO CORRECT ONE ITEM ON THE WEBMASTERS LETTER FROM ED L. ON FACT ONE THE SECOND SENTENCE STATES THAT ALL OF THE CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL AND TRUSTEE ARE REPUBLICANS. THIS IS NOT TRUE TERRY DUNLAP IS A REGISTERED DEMOCRAT (UNLESS HE JUST SWITCHED WITHIN THE LAST FEW WEEKS. I KNOW JEFF FIX JUST SWITCHED OVER JUST ABOUT ONE YEAR AGO SO HE COULD RUN AS A REPUBLICAN IN THIS RACE. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL REPUBLICAN FOR APPROX. 30 YEARS, I KNOW THERE WAS A RUMOR FLOATING AROUND THAT I WAS A DEMOCRAT--NOT TRUE.I TO AM A LITTLE PERPLEXED THAT ED DIDNT WRITE THE LETTER HIMSELF, AS WHEN I SPOKE WITH BOB H.
