Bizarre!
The leaders of our city are responsible for relocating the Police Station. Rather than moving to a centralized location, the facility will be moved to a location that can only be described as the far Western boundary of Pickerington. The land for the new facility was donated to the city, and as a reward for the donation some free stuff was given to the donator. I love how this city works?…you scratch my back and I will give you some land that I prefer not to develop anyway. Or is it the other way around? I have lost track of who is scratching whom.
After accepting such a generous gift, the city realized after taking soil samples of the site?…. OOPS we can not build the facility that we already PAID to have designed because the FREE land is unsuitable for a basement. So the city gets to PAY the same designing firm more money to redesign the building minus the basement. Why the building was even designed without knowing the conditions of the site is beyond me. Oh well, it?’s only tax dollars.
Sorry for rambling on?…I should say what I started out to say?…I find it bizarre that the Police are moving out and the Sheriff is moving in!
