Attention citizens in Central Ohio: If you have any intention whatsoever of making a quick buck, move to Pickerington, get in good with ''the good old boys'' and get ''appointed'' to city council to assure your condominium success! Yes, that's right, currently there is a desperate need for more condos and apartments in Pickerington. Never mind that the schools are overcrowded and the Mayor is a teacher. Mayor Hughes flat out doesn't care about Pickerington's school overcrowding predicament. He will support condos or apartments on land already set aside for business, it is a fact! Just do a small bit of research. All you have to do is stroke his ego and get your foot in the door at Pickerington City Hall.
Me? Well, I own 1 acre so... using the Moonbrake formula for condos on small plots of land with absolutely no benefit to existing area residents except the prospect of even more school overcrowding, I could get 5.32 units on my land! Wow! Isn't Pictown great? Isn't this a great community? I mean, forget the lawsuits and the squandering of taxpayer money for a minute, and realize the potential for getting paid quickly! When Pictown moves to rezone, they skip the preliminaries and call it an emergency!!! Except don't ask anyone in Hill Rd. Kroger what the emergency is to build more condos and apartments. They will tell you there is none. But the emergency for ''the good old boys'' may be that time is running out on the ''free-for-all'' emergency rezoning and annexations...
It may take a while but if I'm still in the area, I can't wait for Pickerington to get exactly what they deserve...
