A headline in the April 17 edition of ThisWeek in Pickerington was imprecise. City council did not do ''an about-face'' in regard to initiative petitions seeking changes to the city charter and city ordinances because council is not responsible for deciding whether such petitions are sent on to the Fairfield County Board of Elections to be placed on the ballot. That decision lies with finance director Linda Fersch. Council's vote to place issues on the November ballot similar to those on the initiative petitions was taken after Fersch announced she would not send the petitions to the election board.
