A POINT

NO HAS A VALID POINTIN EVERYTHING HE/SHE SAID IN THEIR POSTINGS, THE ONLY THING IS THEY TELL PATA AND SOMEONE ELSE TO GET A BACKBONE I AGREE 110% BUT YOU SHOULD ALSO AND SIGN YOUR POSTINGS. ANOTHER TRAIN OF THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO BRING UP IS THE STATE AFTER HOW MANY YEARS (10?) STILL CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DISPERSE SCHOOL MONIES, I WILL TAKE A BET THAT WHEN THEY DO IT WILL BE SOME TYPE OF RIP OFF, WHERE IT DOESNT MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE THEY WILL SPREAD THE MONY OUT. SO IF WE PAYING A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF TAXES AND ANOTHER AREA ISNT THAT AREA WILL GET SOME OF OUR MONY---LETS WAIT AND SEE I HOPE IM WRONG,BUT I DOUBT IT. I SURE WISH THE SCHOOL AND THE BOE DIDNT HAVE SUCH BAD EXAMPLES OF TEACHERS ( LIKE RANDY HUGHES) TO HAVE IN THE PUBLICS EYE, TO BAD WE COULDNT HAVE A REALLY GOOD MAYOR AND TEACHER, YOU WOULD THINK THAT MAN COULD DO SOMETHING RIGHT BESIDES BUDDY UP TO DEVELOPERS
BRUCE ROOKSTOOL
voters arn't stupid...

Bruce:

If the state were to do that (disperse funds from one affluent school district to another ?‘disadvantaged?’ district) we could just not vote for any more property taxes. And also, we could revoke previously approved levies so we'd be totally dependent upon state aid. The voters aren?’t stupid...

Along those lines, Ohio is trying to balance their operating budget on the backs of smokers (the poor). What happened to the lottery? What happened to industry taxes and inventory taxes? Ross Perot didn't get it right about NAFTA. It wasn't a great sucking sound we were to hear regarding jobs leaving the country; it was a long slow draw and it's continuing to suck the life out of Ohio and all her cow towns.

Next?… what's up with all the ''For Lease'' and Vacant store fronts in Pickerington. Drive down SR256 starting at SR204 all the way past Old Pickerington. It's starting to look like a ghost town (from a business perspective). The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce is a failure. Joyce Bushman is a failure. This town is on the decline and the only thing saving it is rooftops. I guess that eventually, once the 6,300 more homes are built, we'll need more drycleaners, McDonalds, Burger King and maybe another workout Gym... Someone should be fired...

Finally, seeing how all these petitions are going around, why can?’t we circulate one to rename Pickerington? We should call it Berryville. We?’ll have a balding middle-aged man Harley rally. Well have the yearly Berry festival, with Condos and cheap housing as the theme. One of the games could be who can slap up the fastest house on an 8,500 sq, ft lot. Of course to make things more difficult, there will be no plywood allowed. Much like all the homes being built on the new development... Milnor Place I believe it is. Theoretically, you could drive a hot ice-pick right through the vinyl siding, past the vapor barrier, past the foam board insulation and right through the drywall. How?’s that for Berryville construction methods. I can?’t believe people even buy those things?…
Can it be...??
