I want to thank John Brinson for his kind words. Yes, I am attempting to bring new industries to Fairfield County. The first and most promising is the proposed Bio-Diesel plant. The investors are looking into several vacated industrial buildings right now. The Bio-Diesel plant, for those of you who don't know, is a green earth plant that uses 4 parts of used cooking oil, 1 and 1/2 part ethanol (moonshine) and a little lye. Mix it and wait 8 hours and you have 2 products, 80% is pure feul grade diesel fuel that when burned produces no know carcinogens and very little if any polution. In addition to that, it smells like french fries cooking instead of the stench produced by fossil feul diesel when it comes out of the exhaust pipe. The rest of the mixture is soap. The investors would appreciate some sort of a tax break to get started but not a free ride like others are demanding. With aproximately a half billion dollar investment in the community and approximately 100 new jobs everyone will benefit. This new business, a total of 3 new industries in 1, will be the Bio-diesel plant, the ethanol plant and a soap plant where hardener, scent and color is added to the soap prior to molding and packageing the final product. The company will pay personal property tax, the employees will pay taxes and spend more in the community creating more sales tax. One last thing to think about, every dollar spent on American made ''veggie feul'' is on less dollar going overseas to people who don't really like us and use the money to build terrist networks. Please remember me November 5, 02, I am running for county commissioner to work for you.
Thank you,
