A picture worth a 1000 words!

The PATA newsletter has changed the way the homebuilders put out their weekend signs directing their prospective home buyers to the model homes. This morning they no longer place their signs below the ?“Welcome to Pickerington?” sign at route 204. I wonder if this by itself will slow the growth?

Those interested can see the photo to your left in the ?“Our Pages?” section. It might be a classic now and you may never see those signs in front of the Pickerington welcome sign ever again.
Not Toilet paper

I guess some in council are not using the newsletter as toilet paper. In a city who is so concerned about appearances, bricks, trees and controlled signage, they let their little builder friends put up ''yard signs'' directing all visitors to their subdivisions for most of the spring and summer right in front of the city sign on SR 256 and SR 204. I am glad PATA picked this up and put it on the cover. The next time Mr. Hughes turns on his broken record statements and says they are doing nothing to hurt our schools, everyone in the room should hold up this photo.

You see, the city looks good on the outside with the trees, bricks and controlled signage rules. But it won't take anyone too long to figure out that there are big problems below the surface as they sit in traffic tie ups looking at all the pretty trees, bricks and controlled signagee on a routine basis. There is no plan to deal with that problem. The only plan is to kiss the A of the builders and give them anything they wish and as many as they wish as long as it has trees, bricks and controlled signage.
Stop mooning this community

Your front-page picture was exactly what it?’s all about. Nice job PATA you caught that band of thieves @ Lockville Road with their pants down.

Developers rule and you nailed it. I had driven by that entrance to our community many times seeing exactly what your picture showed and said to myself this has got to end.

Well in their embarrassment the signs are now moved over, but they can?’t deny that they were there and the damage that?’s being done. I only hope that little band leaves town with their signs and developer buddies in tow.
