More Motives
Obviously there are others that are trying to be character assassins like Mr. Uher. Look at the Mayor of Pickerington and his feeble attempts to skirt the real issues and call people nazi?’s and communist because they dared to write their opinion in a newsletter. When he tried to defend the city?’s financial health he and the City Manager told some fibs. For those that have made public statements many have received calls from athletic boosters, City Councilmen, the Mayor, High School principals, or even the Ex Mayor. These calls were not social calls but angry intimidating calls. They were not seeking information and explaining their actions but some very strong language and insults.
It is very difficult to find people willing to both not know the issue and also be willing to attempt to call citizens to bully them into shutting up about their public opinions. Mark Uher has survived for 5 years now and I still wonder what keeps him going. He has been so good at the intimidation game that the City Council uses him to support them and do their bidding.
Since 1997 we have seen a shameful waste of tax payer?’s recourses here in Pickerington and it continues today. We have the same people in charge as we did in 1997. Yet Mr. Uher wants to blame his self admitted school ?“Financial Crisis?” on the greedy tax payers of Pickerington. One must ask themselves did we get into this financial crisis because of the greedy tax payer?’s or the local leadership that Mr. Uher is on record as supporting over this same time frame.
Could this Pickerington City Council have gotten away with the very poor zoning policies that it has pursued over these last five years without the support of the Pickerington Local School Board? Many of these leaders were supported by Mr. Uher and the above organizations. Some of his support is documented on this web site. Mr. Uher tried to re-invent himself last year with being the treasurer for the school board president Wes Monhollen. Mr. Monhollen remains silent when it comes to opposing the Pickerington City Council.
Mr. Uher has made a brilliant move in having Mr. Monhollen elected and offering ?“NEW HOPE?” yet again to the Pickerington voters. Now there will be real change and cooperation (yea Right). Remember Mark?’s words. Wes has even held out the olive branch to Mrs. Oakes and it has a hook in it. Mark Uher supported the four incumbents Pickerington City Councilmen (documented on this site). Mark Uher joined members of the PACC to form the strong violet township thing that supported the sitting Pickerington Council Members.
NOPE I SAY LET?’S SEE WES MONHOLLEN PUBLICLY STATE THAT HE OPPOSES THE COUNCIL?’S ZONING OF 1200 MORE BUILDING LOTS. LET?’S HEAR MARK UHER PUBLICLY STATE THE FACT THE PROBLEM WITH THE SCHOOL IS THE LACK OF ?“QUALITY COMMERICAL REAL ESTATE ONE MORE TIME?”.
