Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

Et tu Bluto

Posted in: PATA

Congratulations to ''Libeling Lou'' Postage for his recent nomination to the Annual Richard M. Nixon Award for the Most Delusional Elected Offical. Lou calls the publishers of PATA ''liars'' for printing financial data compiled by the City of Pickerington itself. Lou was never one to let reality intrude upon his paranoid visions that everyone is out to get him and his buddies.

By the way, some of us remember Lou promising that the three petitions would be quickly placed on the ballot by city council and they would never be tied up in committee past the point where they could not be placed on the ballot. Lou, what happened buddy?

Lou Postage day?

We should give Lou?’s side of the issue now; we should also realize that Pickerington has a representative government. They were elected by the majority of the voters. They are looking out for the people of this fine city.

Those that oppose this Pickerington City Council are misinformed. If they would only talk with the city then they would quickly learn the errors of their ways. These annexations are filling the coffers of the City. Where else in the area do you have bike paths? How about these fine City parks that the city taxpayers have paid for? Those in the Township get to use them free but still complain. However the water tower? They built it back in 1998.

Oh I forgot Lou raised all that money for the athletic boosters. We should have a lot of respect for a man that has been a coach and a loyal fund raiser. Come on guys cut old Lou a break here. He even insures that these builders are well insured and bonded when they start building in the city. I think that is admirable.

Old Lou is up for reelection next year and he doesn?’t get around as well as he once did. He will need some volunteers to carry and plant signs along with hanging flyers on mail boxes. You guys might want to call old Lou and tell him you want to help with his campaign. Maybe he will feel better about the attitude in his beloved Pickerington. If Old Lou doesn?’t run I would hate living in a city that didn?’t respect and honor those they have been elected to office. Maybe we should have a Lou Postage Day. We could buy a cake and put on silly hats and dance up and down Columbus Street.

Better yet ?“A NO MORE LOU POSTAGE DAY?” November 4th 2003.
