Petition(s) resolved
From the infamous This Weak .. blah, blah, blah August 1st ?”Initiative Petition could be resolved?” ... Pickerington City Council President Lou Postage said the fate of the three initiative petitions ..... will be brought to a conclusion during council?’s August 6th meeting.
Same Weak source August 8th addition ?”Two issues killed on Mapes?’ advice?” Law director tells council proposed ordinances are ?“illegal?”.
And now the real story..
August 12th SE Messenger ... page -2- Two of the three previous initiative ordinances ... died for lack of motions by council members. Reading on... City Law Director Bob Mapes says, ?“Each ordinance would impact existing agreements.... ?“It would be illegal for council to pass....?”
Gee whiz Mr. Mapes are you attempting to defend this City?’s ?“pre-annexation agreements?” that predetermine zoning densities before there is a public hearing on the issue and ?“gift?” away fee reductions or abates completely versus what others must pay for city service? Those deals voted on and approved by Mr.?’s Postage, Fox, Washington, Monebrake, Maxey, Parker, and Wright.
Mr. Brinson?’s questions below appear to be answered, now don?’t they?
