Where we at now?

Could it be a voice of reason...

Ted -

You explore an excellent possiblity with your comments on the Township. An equal playing field will help the City realize that things like Impact Fee's aren't a Competitive Disadvantage & necessary for the well being of the community as it's zoned !! New Albany has had impact fee's for the last 10 years & amazingly enough I think a few houses ARE selling up that way.

Keep thinking those thoughts - there are more & more people that want to listen & act than you know !!!

They know SOP is NOT working & want positive change NOW. Not in November 2004.
Please unite the School Board

While I think the school board is more united than in past years to gain the credibility they need to pass the upcoming levy - they need to take a firm, united stand with the City Council & the Township. Parents know why you need the schools but when the School Board doesn't speak out it seems like you have no issues with the amount of development occuring. (I am saying ''you'' referring to the School Board & do appreciate your efforts in this arena)

I also do not believe the front page of the School Bell did you any favors. Personally I would love to see the math - I don't think it works at an Elementary School level at all. Every parent wants to see the portables become a thing of the past but we also all read fairy tales to our kids nightly - I'd prefer not to see them in the School Bell.
