I'm not going anywhere.
I will be very involved in the 2003 election so don't worry about that. I'll will continue to attend the various meetings as much as time allows.
Are there 4 city council seats and the mayor's seat up for election this coming year? Just curious.
Thanks.

Council seats and Mayor
Brian,
Those seat up for election in 2003.
City Council.
Brian Fox
Lou Postage
Craig Maxey
Mayor Hughes
School Board
Bruce Rigelman
Larry Sigman
Township Trustees
Gary Weltlick
Township Clerk
Bill Losoncey
Obviously we need to be concerned about the City Council Races and the Mayor's race. Here is the count normal legislation passes by a four to three vote. That is if we can replace the three incumbent councilmen and we retain David Shaver. If we can find someone to run for Mayor then the mayor has veto power. It takes two-thirds (5 out of 7)of council voting to over ride a veto.
So you do the math. 2 councilmen and the mayor or even better 3 councilmen and the mayor. Maybe picktown cowpoke will think about the recall of the other three.

Too much begetting
More homes beget more schools, beget more levies to operate, beget more homes, beget more schools, and beget more levies. Go tell two friends and ask them to tell two more that enough is enough.
