Did I read an earlier entry correctly? Craig Maxey is going to work for Colonial Heating and Cooling (or a subsidiary??)

Colonial is a company that has been ''overly and overtly'' involved in City government regarding their property, their business and their political interests and support(self-serving).

Mr. Maxey went to bat with several City officials regarding concerns for Colonial that would have ordinarily slowed down any other project. Colonial wouldn't have it, and Maxey acted as an intermediary throughout the process/negotiation.

Why aren't our elected and appointed officials bunking with James Traficant? It's time for people who are truly concerned to turn up the heat. This is insulting.

1. Colonial Heating is already here, but now they get a tax abatement?
2. Are the owners of Colonial Heating the same individual?’s noted below in City Council?’s own minutes?
3. Points exposed ?– mysteriously these minutes are not on the City?’s web site ?– why?

Council minutes 2-5-02

L. Mr. Bob Posey, 7636 Silver Spring Street, Violet Township. Mr. Posey stated he would like to speak on behalf of Mr. Maxey. Mr. Posey stated he has a local business that is in the process of relocating to Pickerington and he has about 85 employees. Mr. Posey stated Mr. Maxey was very instrumental in bringing his business to Pickerington and he felt it would be a disservice to the City if Mr. Maxey is not appointed. He further stated he felt Mr. Maxey is a man of character and is good for the City and he hoped Council would make this decision.
