My phone is not broken. However I don't want to tip my hand to call the Fairfield Board OF Elections. You may not believe this but there are people in that board that are not truly honest and they would have called everyone if Pickerington before I could have hung up the phone. Tim you know who they are. You saw them in action on June 5th, 2002.

Now a recall is in the works. There are a couple of issues/questions that must be presented to the attorney. Once those issues/questions are anwered and resolved we will be looking for people to carry recall petitions. These is a city resident willing to finance and put forth the recall effort.

It would be nice to hear more complaints from residents of the community not just the city residents. We will need a 200 word essay on each person recalled and why they should be recalled. There is a reference to their oath of office posted on this WEB site. I think Mr. Rookstool provided that for you all. Your input is important.

Tomorrow night might be the time to start your essays. That is when the council rescinds the voter's right to run referendum in Pickerington. You might get extra points for this.

The survey says!

Well my phone must be working now. Someone called this morning with the total number of voters in the last city election. The total in Fairfield county was 1868 which 25% equals 467 valid signature required to recall any elected city offical. We must also add the 16 votes from Franklin caounty and that is 4 more signatures.

So on with the RECALL. Your goal is 471 valid signatures to recall your favorite council person.

Hey Grump,

I will drop the petitions off in about a week. Can you get about 40 signatures? We will need a buffer of about 150 signature. So the real number we would be shooting for is 621. For those that are math challegenged that is 471 valid signatures and 150 signatures from folks that don't know where they are registered.

Grump start your Essays 200 words or less. Are you a race fan? That is a take off of start your engines at Indy. Still with me?
