Good point about the ''litter'', but at about $3.00 each (two wood sticks, one piece of cardboard, and a little elbow grease) even I can stay ahead of the trash man for a few days without going into debt. And, the cheaper my signs look, the more they reflect the grassroots nature of this issue.
I think a picture of a city employee pulling up a sign that encourages voters to exercise their rights would make a good photo for your next newsletter. (not as good as the last photo of all the signs though...)
