What I can do
Dear Pickerington Voter,
Once elected, I would be a VOICE of the people and not another ECHO. In reference to the annexations and unrestricted development that is where I can make my first move to help the citizens of Pickerington. If the city officials want to annex land into the city limits for the developers, I would have a vote on the annexation. Although by law I can't vote no just because of the developers not funding the schools, I can vote no on the annexation because the development would create an unhealthy impact upon the citizenry of Pickerington. I would recomend that the developers and the city think of a better way to expand that would lessen the adverse impact on the citizens of Pickerington such as paying for the tap-in fees for water and sewer and contributing a sizable amount for the Pickerington Schools. These offers would not in their entirety convince me to approve the annexation but would be a step in the right direction. These offers also would not cost the developer a penny since these costs would be passed on directly to the buyer of the new house.
Thank you,
Michael Noll
