Your evil queen, Joyce the Merciless, has forced out another decent hardworking employee. This time it is Barb Slaven. All of us should be glad that a decent person like Barb got out before the indictments start being issued.
The latest on the evil queen's agenda is to have city council authorize her to hire an assistant witch (sp?). The new assitant manager would cost about $52,000.00 a year. Presumably, our $111,000.00 a year city manager does not have enough time between hair appointments, sucking up to the developers and obtaining real estate options on land that is shortly to be approved for housing by city council to actually perform her job.
I have an idea. Why don't we just obtain a new city manger and get rid of this money wasting, double dealing developer henchwoman. After all, this is the same irresponsible person who had us wasted at least $150,000.00 on the effort to repeal annexation reform just so she could pad her resume. Hughes is down, Bushman is next.
