I think the last writer hit the nail on the head.

The City Council is pretty darn lame, but that only allows Joyce to do what she wants. Not only does she NOT want a full-time Mayor, an Assistant City Manager may not be her idea either.

But the real problem remains this--Mrs. Bushman should be reviled, recalled and then some.

Alot of you old timers and just plain good citizens know a lot about her behavior. Some of it just plain rude and obnoxious, but a lot of it is unethical, questionable and illegal. She can definitely be recalled, based on Ohio Revised Code.

I think the recall folks should set up a separate e-mail drop where people who know some of these wrongdoings can deposit their information, so it can be collected, verified and perhaps sworn to for submission to the Ohio Ethics Commission.

Serious stuff, and believe me, there is PLENTY that can be verified and sworn to that the state officials who review this behavior would be appalled by.

I am sure the wheels are turning, but the top dog is really the one that needs to be put out of the house. The others may need to go too, but they are just along for the ride.

Duty Calls

I know there is a lot of banner on this web site about different activities related to our Pickerington City government. Much of what I have heard is just plan rumor right now. However if what is suggested by some of you is true then we have a very corrupt city government. The only way to put an end to this corruption is to attack it now or continue to sit at home while your tax dollars are being sent to the out of town bank accounts.

It is our duty as freedom loving Americans to demand an honest, ethical and open City Government. It is our duty to step forward if we have first hand information. If you know of or just suspect that something is going on then you must be willing to sign statements to that affect. If you have material evident of wrong doing then you must protect it and bring it to the proper authority. It is your duty. No one else will do it for you. I don?’t care if you have lived in this city your entire life we must put a stop to this corruption. It doesn?’t matter that you might be turning in a friend or colleague you must do it for the good of our community.

In recent weeks, I have received phone calls from people with information that they say is very reliable yet they refuse to give me their name or the person or persons that gave them this information. If these allegations are true then there are some very serious things happening with your tax dollars that you must all be concerned with.

There are people stepping up to file complaints as I write this posting. Those complaints will take months before they become public. I am aware of other complaints that could be filed if we had people with first hand information willing to come forward and sign affidavits. If you know of someone that is aware of an illegal or unethical act by city leaders then please contact me now. They must be willing to sign their name to these complaints. I believe there are some very honest and hard working people at the Pickerington City Hall. Their reputations are being painted with the same brush that the current leaders are being painted with. It is time for them to step forward.

I am glad you said something about this. I am still rather new to this site and I haven't gone all the way back thru the history on this discussion board. But talking to several contributors here and reading what is posted I see a lot of references made to all the shading dealings going on in the city. The city manager involved in personal land deals?? How can she do this without getting caught. There is such a thing as ethics. I do hope that if anyone does know and has proof that they would go to the authorities. It's the least they can do. Why be secretive about it? You're as guilty as she is!
