Why? What should we expect while we wait? Conversion? or more of the same? If you wish to know the future, look to the past.
The time has come for Ms. Joyce Bushman to find other means of support. With the exception for Mr. Shaver, City Council has had their day in the Pickerington Sun.
The November election was a resounding cry 'that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from' Pickerington.

Then do it!
If you are wholly convinced a recall is necessary then organize it and do it! Quit sitting on your duff doing nothing but complaining about others waiting. It is easy to sit behind your keyboard and tsk, tsk others for not doing something you are too lazy to do yourself.
If I remember correctly, I haven't seen you in my neighborhood with the recall petitions. How do I know I didn't see you - because I haven't seen anyone!
So Mr/Ms Tired of Waiting I ask - where can I contact you? When is your first meeting? How are the petitions coming along? HOW CAN I HELP YOU, keyword being YOU, since YOU are ready to organize this endeavor?
So either put up or shut up about what you think about the recall effort until you are ready to ACT!

Recall a comin!!
Dear Tired of Waiting,
There is a quiet little recall effort going on as you post on this web site. We have over 20 people ready to carry recall petitions and others willing to give money to help with the effort. We are only going to target three of the current council men. We believe they should be the first to go. We will know probably in early January when they make their recommendations to the full council.
We are having a problem with getting a spokesman. We need someone to present the reasons for recall and be able to relay that to the press. The person willing to do that is in a conflict with his other duties. That will be worked out in the next couple of weeks.

Sh@#$@#$@ it or get off the pot
You are are absolutely right Tired of Whining. I totally agree. It is really easy to complain and then no nothing other than complain. My father, a very wise man used to say to me and my siblings Sh$56$^$^it or get off the pot. If you are interested in making a change then begin the organization. I can tell you that it would be improper on many levels for me to lead this. We had our meeting and no one stepped up with the answers. We all agreed it needed to be done and still may be, however we needed to know if the community in fact supported this. We know that the message was sent to Council that they must listen to us, however is the community really behind the recall? I mean really? If so, how many and who? The ever important question, who fills the spot and what happens next. You guys, we cannot take such a strong stand and not have a plan in mind. We are talking about overthrowing our city government here. We must have a clear message, candidates and a plan. Once again, if you would like to spearhead this effort I am there with petitions and feet walking, however if we cannot get someone to step up to take the lead then it will die. We need someone who is willing to be the spokesperson for the group, to define candidates and assist the city constituents in defining their future. We need someone, other than Ted Hackworth (You have more than done your share, thanks) Until that time, please save me from seeing the hand ringing and complaints.
