Dear Interested,
I think that is not a question that should be either asked or answered on this open web site. The general answer is yes there is some good candidates that did apply for this open seat. Many are not connected to the local builders and that is good for our entire city. Whether they can become good council members and represent this city is a question out for consideration.
I know as a watcher of Politics this group seems to be getting better and our future will look better once we have some new faces serving on council. In the mean time let us be patience.

Interested,
I wasn't trying to shoot you down. I just wanted to make sure we didn't say something on this web site that would be seen by those at city hall. They read this site on a regular basis. I am sure if you call David directly he will be glad to tell you his opinion of the proceedings. I think he even put his e-mail address down the page a little ways.
