Dear Not-So-Anonymous,

Oh those tricky lists?…

I feel Joan was treated unfairly, rudely and was prematurely burned at the stake! Perhaps we could use a kinder, gentler P.A.T.A. voice at times. I do believe this has been mentioned before, no?

Everyone who comes to the table with something to offer toward the justifiable ends, no matter how small or large, should not be shown the door, or in this case, booted out the door. You?’ll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar no doubt. This will prove to be a pesky task in the future to be sure. A lesson I've learned not so long ago for sure.

Very Respectfully,

Joan will be back

John,

I do not need to put out honey for Joan, I am sure she will be back under another pen name. I will leave her alone then. She has been here before as a representative from the other side with heavy verbal weaponry. The 180 degree turn is welcome, but I do not wish for her baggage to tarnish the effort. That is why I went where I went, originally hoping a simple map could point this out. Her learning curve was longer than I expected. The city can discount all of the effort to change our community if it is led by one who they can brush off as ''disgruntled employee.'' What is at stake here is too big to cater to egos, even mine. I felt that telling it like I perceived it was in her best interest and the best interest of everyone's effort.

As I have stated in another posting, her opinions are very welcome, I just do not think she should try to author the mannual unless under a pen name.
Pen Names don't drive Public Op

I don't agree with the methods in which you made your point. But your point has merits until you get to the part about pen names.

Change won't come anonymously - the people that drive change need to be recognized, viable people that will step up & lead & organize. And remember no one knew me before the Referenda.

I think that PATA's message is good but the angry stance attracts an audience that they already have - they want the audience they don't have that may be ready to listen. A calm, straight forward presentation of the facts will attract them.
