TODAYS DISPATCH (10-28-02) PAGE B6 PICKERINGTON VOTERS------ IN IT IT STATES THAT IF ISSUE 4 IS DEFEATED THEY MAY NOT OPEN THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL, WHEN WE VOTED ON THAT LEVY IN 2000 WE WERE TOLD THAT THAT WOULD INCLUDE EVERYTHING OPENING IT AND OPERATING EXPENSES---NOW THEY THREATEN US WITH NOT OPENING IT--- IM SICK AND TIRED AND AINT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE, I WILL NOT VOTE FOR ANOTHER TAX INCREASE OF ANY KIND UNTILL DEVELOPMENT STOPS (FOR A WHILE) AND THE CURRENT COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE OUT OF OFFICE. I ALSO NOTICE THAT PATA HAS BEEN QUITE, HOW DOES IT FEEL ABOUT THE NEW TAX, AND IF PATA STAYS NEUTRAL I WONDER HOW THE NEW PATA REPUBLICAN CLUB FEELS ABOUT IT AND ALSO THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT NORMALLY JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON AND ENDORSE TAXES, THEY ALL SEEM TO NOT WHAT TO GET INVOLVED, STAND UP AND BE COUNTED! I SAY LETS DEFEAT THE NEW TAX RESOUNDINGLY AS THEY WILL COME RIGHT BACK WITH IT AND KEEP COMING BACK WITH IT TILL IT IS APPROVED. AGAIN FOLKS OUR TAXES ARE ALREADY GOING TO JUST ABOUT DOUBLE WITH JUST THE CURRENT TAXES WE HAVE PASSED WHEN EVERYTHING GOES INTO AFFECT IN A COUPLE OF YEARS---LETS DO A LITTLE POLL HERE ON THIS SITE HOW MANY ARE FOR THE NEW TAX AND HOW MANY OPPOSE IT? WHILE IM ON A ROLL SOME ONE WROTE HERE ABOUT THE RECALL LETS GET GOING WHO DO I CONTACT AND GIVE MY MONEY TO? I SURE AS HECK WOULD RATHER GIVE MY MONEY TORECALL THE INCOMPENTENT MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS THAN TO FUND THE NEW SCHOOL TAX SO BUILDERS CAN SAY WHAT A GREAT CITY WE HAVE COME TO PICKERINGTON AND THE PEOPLE WILL BUILD THE SCHOOLS---LETS WAKE UP!!!!

First let me say welcome back. We haven?’t heard from you in a while. Second let me say, as a member of the Republican Club of Northwest Fairfield County, it is not our position or purpose to endorse issues. One of our purposes is to help recruit and support good Republican candidates for offices. There are efforts by Club members to support issues outside the boundaries of the Club. Trust me when I say that, although not discussed, I am sure the Club is as divided on this issue as the community is. It is the intention of the Mayor and Council and their ape the city manager to do exactly that ?– divide and conquer the community.

You and others continue to talk about recall. You guys talk about donating money to support the recall effort. Yet only 1686 voters came out to the polls last year to vote for members of city council. That is out of a total registered voter group of over 6500. The average voter in Pickerington just don't give a rat's A--. How do you expect them to take on this recall decision?

The poll on the Pickerington school levy. Here again the voters don't what more taxes. Yet their vote will be to stay home next Tuesday. That is exactly how we get these policies here in Pickerington. Some of the school board members and the school admin and the booster clubs hold the voters hostage with, ''what will happen to their children.''

The PATA group is not a political group that either supports or opposes issues and candidates. It merely places the PUBLIC DOCUMENTS in front of the voters and tries to solve our collective problems with information. The Republican Club of NW Fairfield county is not connected to the PATA group. Although they do have members that are in both groups.

I WOULD SAY AS FAR AS A POLL GOES I WILL VOTE AGAINST ISSUE 4. I AM VOTING AGAINST ISSUE 4 BECAUSE THE SCHOOL BOARD AND THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND OTHERS HAVE SUPPORTED THESE CLOWNS THAT ARE MEMEBERS OF THE PICKERINGTON CITY COUNCIL. THE CITY COUNCIL'S COLLECTIVE POLICES ARE VERY BIASED TOWARD THE DEVELOPERS AND THE BUILDERS. WITH LITTLE OR NOT THOUGHT TO WHAT THEIR VOTES WILL DO TO THE FUTURE OF NOT ONLY THE CITY BUT THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. I DO NOT BUY THE ARGUMENT FROM WES MONHOLLEN THAT THEY WON'T LISTEN TO HIM. WES MAY BE CORRECT IN THAT THE COUNCIL WON'T LISTEN BUT IF HE TALKS PUBLICALLY THEN THE VOTERS WILL LISTEN.

WES ON WEDNESDAY MORNING IF THIS LEVY CAMPAIGN GOES DOWN YOU BETTER BE ON THE FRONT STEPS OF CITY HALL HIGH LIGHTING THE REAL REASONS VOETRS REJECTED YOUR EFFORTS FOR MORE OPERATING MONEY. ON EACH SIDE YOU BETTER DAMN SURE HAVE THE OTHER MEMEBRS OF THAT SCHOOL BOARD BACKING YOU UP. YOU BETTER BE DEMANDING AN GROUP PLAN OF A RESIDENTIAL GROUP OF NO MORE THAN ONE AND HALF PERCENT RESIDENTIAL GROUTH IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL DISTRICT. ANYTHING LESS WILL NOT SHOW THE VOTERS YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR TAXES.

IF NOT I STAND CORRECTED BUT I FEEL THESE ISSUES ARE TO BIG TO STAND BY IDLE, AND SAY NOTHING, THIS SITE GETS A LOT OF GREAT RESPONSES AND LETTERS BUT NO ONE SIGNS THERE NAME, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO COMMUNICATE WITH SOME OF THESE PEOPLE THAT FEEL AS I DO
