Comment: They must think we have enough to go around to help them too since we can fund our schools every two years.

Lines at the Polls

I am glad that there has been very little activity on this web site today. That normally indicates you are all out trying to make a change in this community. I have heard a number of reports today that there were lines at the polling places. I can only hope that we have a very large turnout today. I also hope that those that did weather the rain that they also supported the three city intiatives.

If you just got home from work and forgot to vote please do so right now. This is when it really counts. Your posting and signs around the area are only messages with no bite in the message. Please make your feelings known today. The larger the precentage the more everyone must listen. Hopefully elected official's actions will soon follow.

I promise you will not melt in the rain.

Heavy Turnout

I just got home from voting. The poll workers reported heavy turnout at my polling place in Summerfield -- over 50% vs. an expected turnout of about 30%. Something clearly is going on.
