Again, not to spill the beans on who it is that made the quote, Tim confirmed that I was right and even had the timing of the quote nailed.

A shot in the dark


This is simply a wild guess, but I think the phrase ''former'' is misleading. Could it be a quote from Craig Maxey in the interim period between his defeat at election and his reappointment to council?

My first thought was.....

My first thought was Jeff Monebrake - I think it's an ex-councilman.

But I think David's shot has to be right - it sounds much more like Craig.

Nope... Tim just called and he is getting a chuckle out of these guesses.

The matter involves a past member of Council who had written an inflammatory letter. The letter was posted on one of this area?’s newspaper websites and then retracted the same day from that website when facts disproved the contents of the letter. Copies were kept electronically and in print form.

It?’s just another example of something I had stated to the papers recently as to how the inner circle in power will continue to suppress via inaccurate information the truth. The subject of the letter revolved around the initiative of 2 homes per acre, which when the public was not snowed by the attempted misrepresentations, passed with voter approval of 78% at the polls last month.
