We should never forget the accomplishments as noted on the city website. I guess they don't think David Shaver has sacrificed anything. This whole load of babble contradicts itself throughout?…Parker and Maxey are both the Chair of Service? Parker was ?“re-elected?” to serve his second term? (He was appointed in 1999). Don't you have to be elected first to be re-elected? And if they have Parker's information for being ''re-elected'', they certainly were aware that David Shaver was ELECTED (not appointed) by a landslide.
The following information follows a letter from the Chief of Police. You can view this at the city website by clicking the Public Safety link on the main page located at http://www.ci.pickerington.oh.us/

Community Leaders Part II
Community Leaders
It is without question that nothing the police department does or accomplishes is without the support and leadership of those individuals who make sacrifice in their personal lives to serve the City of Pickerington. The diversity within this small, but very influential, group of individuals allows our community leaders to offer a broad, well informed, mixture of knowledge and experience to solving the complex and difficult issues effecting our community. They take very seriously the fact that their decisions and actions today will impact our community for the next twenty-five to fifty years.
