Since you and I are probably the only two up this morning, I'll answer this. They both rhyme with Larry and it ain't Gary!

If you didn't get the hint from the Sorry Bruce anonymous then maybe this will help. Which TWO Violet TOWNSHIP trustees were endorsed by the PICKERINGTON AREA REPUBLICAN CLUB in 2001? Who is in this Republican Club? (The endorsement was made by 4 members of that club, Lee Gray, Daryl Barry, Doug Parker, and Craig Maxey) Why would they want allies in the township and now the county commissioner's office?

Mr. Rookstool this all about land speculation and turning a real quite profit by buying low from depressed sellers (BECAUSE THE CITY MANAGER WON'T ALLOW THE SELLER'S PROPERTY TO BE REZONED TO COMMERCIAL) Then she (the city manager) comes along and offers to buy the very same property from this depressed seller. This can be done with a purchase option and it will never be recorded at the county courthouse. The option holder never actually owns the property but uses her influence to get the property rezoned to increase the value of said property. Once she (city manager) buys it she gets it rezoned then sales it to a local developer like (you know who). Plan two is to have a fellow that seems to know when and where these things are happening and he offers to buy the property (he is acompanied by a city councilman or two) because he can get it rezoned. Bruce rezoning property to say R-4 or to even commercial can increase the value of undeveloped land ten fold.

Why do they need the Trustees help? ANNEXATIONS. They want someone to cooperate with them and not challenge their stupid annexation policies that only bring in big bucks for thoses chosen few that have made millions getting local properties rezoned and sold within months. John Brinson mentioned the Lisa Ross referendums. The owners of that rezoning behind the Kroger store sold that property just three months after they had it rezoned by his friends on council. It is full of houses now. Once suppose to be a business park. Who made out here?
