Thank you sir
Thanks violetmom and thank you, too, Dr. Rigelman. I am proud of you for actually taking action whenever you can and not just supplying us with your words. Also, I appreciate your frequent communication on issues while many of your counterparts remain mute.
I agree completely with what violetmom says. No offense to my nose, but I just cannot afford to give what you are asking for. Without wasting readers?’ time restating what violetmom said, please allow me to just ask one other thing.
Why do we have to be threatened with the extracurricular activities? First, they are all cancelled for next year. Then we are told that even if the levy passes, the extras are still cancelled. Then, one of the Board Members says that passing the levy will bring back a portion of them. (Who gets to pick is an interesting dilemma but I?’ll save that for another posting.)
What is the straight story? If I find that I am financially able to support a levy I need to know with all certainty that my kid?’s education will come first. I am certain that they will not have a secure future via Pickerington Athletics, Band or Performing Arts. Educational opportunities and hard work are the keys to their future. Not the others.
Please give us the straight story on how passing a levy will impact the on again, off again extracurricular activities in PLSD.
Thank you!
