Saw in the Dispatch that the moratorium proposal cleared service committtee....nice job.

Just thought I'd pass along a strange comment from my realtor. (moving to Violet Twp, can't stomach paying Pickerington taxes to pay lawyers to fight against me) She called while I was traveling and asked me ''who was this Bushman person?''. When I asked how she knew that name, she said that while she was out of town, she missed a conference call that was allegedly arranged by Bushman with a number of local realtors to discuss the negative impact that a soon to be presented housing moratorium would have on their interests. Since she was not in town to hear the actual call, she could not be any more specific, or even certain of her facts.
The plane was about to take off, and I didn't have time to ask her much more about it.

Anyway, sounds like our city manager is out even ahead of the service committee approval rounding up opposition to your actions...also sounds like she knew for sure it was coming. I noted that in the Dispatch article, they quoted a Micheal Mahon, a ''real estate representative'', who is opposed to the moratorium.

For what it's worth...if anything.

City Manager Wrong

Your story is very disturbing to me. It is not the role of the city manager to arrange opposition to a policy measure introduced by an elected official. Please have your realtor contact me to confirm this story.
Not a Realtor

Gary and David

Micheal Mahon is not a realtor. So he must be a hired attorney for the real estate companies here in Pickerington which may also include the builders.

Will the press get this right?
