I would like to respond to the comments made from one of the pro-builders last night.

If you are out there - I spoke after you did and was so mad by what you had say that I couldn?’t effectively comment on it without making it personal and most likely getting thrown out of the chamber.

You stated repeatedly how you didn?’t care about a war in Iraq, about how that was someone else?’s business, and that you could care less about a war but thank God for the Parade of Homes and the entrepreneurial spirit display in this wonderful Parade. How twisted are your priorities? WAR means people DIE! Americans included! How in the world could you possibly make a statement like this? Has money twisted you so much that all you can think about is how great it is to build more homes? I care far more about what happens to those who are defending this country, who have left their families and many times their livelihood behind to make this country safe than I ever would for some STUPID Parade of Homes.

HOW DARE YOU PUT PEOPLE DYING FOR OUR COUNTRY BEHIND THE PARADE OF HOME? HOW DARE YOU? Who died for the flag you were so proudly wearing over your house silhouette? Men and Women who FOUGHT IN WARS DID, THAT?’S WHO! And you care more about a Parade of Homes? Let me guess ?– you also booed our troops when they came back from Vietnam didn?’t you? Talk about gratitude for those in the armed services!

I fully support our President but more importantly I support our troops and I pray for their safety while in harms way. They are the true heroes of America!

Brian - you are correct !!

I was not at the meeting - but I do not need to be there to understand that someone who puts the Parade of Homes ahead of human lives is A MORON! Brian - I want to support you in your patriotism and understanding that the U.S. troops and their families need all of the support they can get in this time of potential war. Obviously this woman has never been associated with anyone in the military or their families. She would then understand the ultimate sacrifice that military service can include.

So woman - if you think the Parade of Homes is more important than the potential war with Iraq - you have no business asserting your beliefs in this great country that has afforded you life, liberty, freedom, democracy and presumably happiness. You are a SELF-CONSUMED WACKO who needs to SIT DOWN!

Brian, I was looking through the ''reporter'' pages trying to see who was the person who did the Iraq speech and I cannot find that name, who was this person and what affiliation do they have realtor, builder, builder's family or citizen in the dark?

She must have thought the United Nations was attending last nights council meeting to vote on a resolution?

It is scary that she might have a license to sell real property.
