Well all anyone needs to do to get confirmation about the City Manager's inappropriate behavior when it comes to representing outside interests is to remember last year's battle with state legislators over the passage and enactment of Senate Bill 5.

Ms. Bushman worked with builders--Harry Giltz, the owner of the Drug Mart property included--to secure support--both financial and editorial--for the recall of that state measure re: annexation.

Funny how a businessman (Giltz) who donated thousands of dollars to repeal Senate Bill 5 via the Bushman/No on State Control campaign got such great service and assistance in developing land along SR 256. Also funny how City personnel were ordered to work with organizations such as NAIOP (acronym) to conduct what is commonly referred to as a ''black'' public relations campaign, not to mention other business organizations and entities.

Of course Joyce Bushman is organizing against this. Don't be at all surprised if the information campaign to fight the intiatives is conducted at City Hall.

Now there's something to think about. Just business as usual.

New City Public P.I.O.

Did the city hire one of the creators of the ''black'' public relations campaign as the new Public Information Officer, replacing Barb Slaven? I heard somebody was on board with a political background,no big splash announcement from the city in the paper this time. Do tell.

Of course Picktown has hired another P.I.O. named Krause, a past Station Manager of WLOH radio, one of Joyce?’s favorite sounding vehicles of how stupid the people of Pickerington were to vote to limit density and give-a-way?’s to developers. She did so before and after the election in every opportunity to get air time (hot air time). So do you think the new P.I.O. will give the whole story? Do you believe that hiring a P.I.O. is to be able to maintain ALL information to the public? Do you really think that as now it is an election year this P.I.O. will do another Picktown Communicator to load the bias of how great of a Council we have versus the truth of their bias and INEPTITUDE? Is hiring another P.I.O. more important than say, fixing the hole on West Columbus? Or repairing the dilapidated Diley Road (oh heck) we better put that fix on hold until all the construction vehicles quite beating it up ?– even though Lou the Mayor told us he was slowing down growth. The things we spend money on are stupid.
