I am sure many of you know this, but as a newly appointed official, Lou has six months until he can be recalled. That means on June 3, 2003, Lou could be recalled according to statute. However, I am not certain that you can't begin recall efforts prior to June 3. In fact, it may take 3 months to get everything together and organized properly.
Lou does think the PATA folks are a bunch of ''talkers'' and not ''doers''. He has said many times that PATA is just a group of ''unhappy people with nothing better to do but tear down the positive people in the community.''
So giving him the benefit of the doubt is really a waste of time. He likes the City Manager, and as council president, was involved in a lot of her decisions.
And by the way, why were City of Pickerington trucks at the Drug Mart Monday afternoon assisting a backhoe operator while they cleared the parking lot--not the city street--of standing water? How many of you business owners out there would like some special assistance like that?
