THE HICKORY LAKE SCAM IS THE BREAKING POINT. I CURRENTLY HAVE MANY PETITIONS TO RECALL, POSTAGE, MAXEY, PARKER, WRIGHT, AND FOX. I HAVE PRESENTED THESE PETITIONDS TO LINDA Y. AND HAVE THE RECEIPT. I NEED PEOPLE TO CARRY THEM IN ORDER TO COLLECT SIGNATURES, AND PEOPLE TO SIGN THEM. ANYONE CAN CIRCULATE THEM BUT YOU HAVE TO BE A CITY RESIDENT, A REGISTERED VOTER AND I LIKE TO ADD YOU HAVE VOTED IN THE LAST ELECTION.THEY ARE A LITTLE TRICKY AS YOU ALL KNOW TED H. HAD ONE THROWN OUT BECAUSE HE DIDNT DOT AN I OR SOMETHING SILLY LIKE THAT , SO ANYONE THAT TAKES ONE TO CIRCULATE I WOULD LIKE TO GO OVER IT WITH YOU SO WE MAKE NO ERRORS.I NEED RIGHT AT 402 SIGNATURES BUT WOULD LIKE TO GET 600 TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE, THIS IS VERY DOABLE. I WILL BRING THE PETITIONS TO YOU TO CIRCULATE OR EVEN JUST GET YOUR SIGNATURE, BUT PLEASE I DO NEED HELP I CANT DO IT ALL BY MYSELF---CONTACT ME

Congratulations Bruce for coming through on your promises. One piece of advice, though. Contact the local papers and the Dispatch immediately with a prepared statement or email them a press release. Don't wait for the City Public Relations guy to break the story with their spin on it. Continue to take the lead. I am very proud of you and will contact you offline to get a petition to circulate.

Common Meeting Point

The folks in Upper Arlington had a common meeting spot for a mass signing. Maybe something like that would work here.

Maybe we could all meet at Hickory Lakes to sign these petitions ??? Maybe Tim Horton's would be easier !!

If it could be publicized in the papers it may be an easy way to get the signatures quickly.

First let me thank Bruce Rookstool for the courage and commitment to the community to step forward and file these 5 recall petitons. I think Bruce is commited and those of us that will be carrying these petitions must be just as commited.

It will not reach our goal by sitting in front of Tim Hortens waiting on the public to come by and sign. It will take going door to door with the risk of that person slamming the door in your face. Some won't sign because they don't want to get into the fight. Tell them France is nice this time of the year. No please be respectful and just walk away.

What are we fighting for here? It is the future of this community and our children. Clearly those in office that are being recalled will not change and they refuse to listen to the many voters that have appeared before them over the last two years. Yet when they arrange a big meeting with the BIA and the Columbus Board of Realtors they sit up and listen. They meet with them shutting out the public. We must let them know who is in charge!!!

I wanted to correct Bruce that we will need at least 471 signatures and I would recommend that we get over 650 because some will not be valid.

The readers of this web site have an oportunity right now to make a change in how this goverment works and our future. It is not a time for the timid. Please step forward and help Bruce Rookstool in this effort. He has placed his name before you all and left you his contact information. The very least any of you could do is to go out and get 15 or 20 signatures from your friends or family.

One other correction. You must be a city registered voter to sign the petition. To circulate the petition you must be a registered voter in the State of Ohio. So the Township residents can circulate these petitions if they are registered to vote here.

I plan to work side by side with Bruce and get these signatures as soon as possible. I understand there will be petitions available tomorrow.
