Business First Article link outlining Building Industry Association (BIA) activities pondering legal action against the two homes per acre issue passed by over 75% of City voters. It appears the City will not vigorously defend the mandate of the overwhelming majority of voters as the City Attorney appears to nearly invite this group to litigate.... on behalf of WHO?!

Mayor Randall L. Hughes, even in leaving office, can?’t present the truth to the public.
In misspeaking about cooperation .....
From the Nov. 21,2002 This Week in Pickerington ?“Hughes steps down?” Hughes quoted about the previous Growth Summit Meetings and why he thinks they failed - ?“...and it turned out (the township) had already cut a deal with Canal Winchester several months earlier.?” Thanks for the misinformation Mayor Hughes, so that all can see how you acted we've supplied your own correspondance and accompaning facts.

HERE THEY GO AGAIN
Obstructionist antics continue to oppose citizen referendum efforts.

City Auditor refuses to submit the referendum issues; The Reserve at Pickerington Ponds, Viola Park, the apartment zoning at the Village of Sycamore Creek, and Fox Glen. Again, special counsel Donald McTigue , sites reasoning to not allow citizen determination of OUR COMMUNITY .

City Auditor submits 316 acre referendum issue to the electorate, however retained special counsel, Donald McTigue, threatens subject referendum will be challenged should the voters overturn the ?“will of the Council?” .
Justification is implied toward contractual obligations, WHILE ignoring the potential illegality of this City?’s practice of CONTRACT ZONING thru Pre-Annexation Annexation agreements.
