I get that a lot of people are ''really busy'' - I think I myself fall into that catagory.
Figure out what you can do & start there. Write a letter, go to a Council Meeting, Not every CommUNITY 1st meeting is on a Sunday - they are in smaller committee's working with the members availability. People that are interested are being added even now - I just emailed Lisa Reade last week.
If you can't commit to be part of the solution - don't tell people you don't like what's down the road - higher taxes, split sessions, more traffic - will you be able to make time then?
